Project Engineer (Terminal Automation System)

You will be a part of the Project Department within the Indian Based MNC Group located in Thane, Maharashtra. With a requirement of 5-10 years of experience and an education background of BE/B.Tech, you will lead the project execution for terminal automation systems (TAS). This includes the integration of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS for skid-mounted metering/loading solutions. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, and on-site integration at various terminals related to oil & gas, petrochemical, and LNG. You will be expected to liaise with customers, engineering leads, and field teams for solution validation, technical feedback, and troubleshooting purposes. Additionally, you will review control philosophy, safety interlocks, emergency shut down, and control panel configuration. Collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams for system interfacing during skid delivery and installation will be crucial. Providing training to customer operations & maintenance teams is also part of the role. Ensuring project documentation, maintaining schedules, and reporting project progress clearly will be essential in this position. The required qualifications include a degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering along with 5-10 years of experience in terminal automation, PLC-based control systems, and skid or metering system projects. Hands-on experience with SCADA/HMI platforms such as Wonderware, iFix, or Simplicity is necessary. Familiarity with automation standards like API, IEC, NFPA, OSHA, SIL/HAZOP practices, and custody transfer is expected. Exposure to industries such as oil & gas, LNG, petrochemicals, and aviation terminals will be beneficial. A good understanding of skid-mounted metering, instrumentation, valves, and interlock logic is also required.,
