About the Role:

Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly review and analyze project specifications, ensuring strong technical compliance.
• Develop, manage, and control detailed project schedules using MS Project and Primavera.
• Lead project kick-off meetings, driving clear communication with internal teams and clients.
• Manage document submissions and ensure timely approvals from all stakeholders.
• Prepare and monitor project requisitions (RFI, TBE, RFP) aligned with project schedules.
• Lead vendor negotiations to achieve techno-commercial closure with strong technical justification.
• Oversee budget tracking and cost control to meet financial targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Design, Procurement, QC, Fabrication, Construction, and Commissioning, ensuring technical and schedule alignment.
• Expedite project activities on-site and at vendor locations, resolving technical and logistical challenges.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks/issues, and report status regularly to PM/Head.
• Ensure adherence to KPIs, KRAs, and quality standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech).
• 6 to 10 years of strong technical and project management experience in oil & gas or similar heavy engineering sectors.
• Proven expertise in fired heaters, skids, process units, and related technical areas.
• Hands-on experience with project planning and control tools: MS Project and Primavera.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver results under pressure
