Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at our construction management team, you will oversee project planning, execution, and coordination to ensure timely, on-budget completion. Your role will involve utilizing advanced construction software and technical skills to maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout diverse infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and managing project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software. - Coordinating with architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients for smooth project execution. - Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. - Assisting in construction estimating processes using HeavyBid and other tools to prepare accurate project budgets. - Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and updating schedules regularly to identify potential delays or issues. - Managing contracts, change orders, and procurement activities in collaboration with stakeholders. - Conducting site visits to oversee construction activities, verify compliance with safety standards, and resolve technical issues on-site. - Utilizing Civil 3D for site design review and integration into project planning. - Preparing reports on project status, risks, and resource allocation for internal teams and clients. - Ensuring adherence to project scope, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of construction. Qualifications required for this role: - Proven experience in construction management or as a Project Engineer with a solid understanding of the construction process. - Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and schematics interpretation. - Strong knowledge of project scheduling, contract management, blueprint reading, and construction estimating. - Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. - Strong communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute education requirements. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
