Job Description

As the Project Director R&D - Controllers at SCIC Ventures, your role involves leading the specification, development, and validation of PCB controllers for home appliances, starting with Air Conditioner Controllers and expanding to other verticals. Your responsibilities include: - Translating product concepts and customer needs into detailed functional specifications - Creating clear feature matrices, use cases, and operating logic for various home appliances - Defining and driving milestone-based development plans for multiple product lines - Interacting closely with customers to capture product expectations and validation needs - Guiding teams in the selection of components, protocols, and sensors - Maintaining a forward-looking product roadmap for all appliance controllers Qualifications required for this role include a B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field, along with 15-20 years of experience in product development. Preferred skills include exposure to AC controller development, IoT integration, and hands-on knowledge of tools like Altium and Eagle.
