Project Development Manager

The Project Development Manager for Karnataka will be responsible for managing land and legal documentation, as well as coordinating with Land Aggregators in Karnataka. You will play a key role in obtaining statutory approvals for Open Access projects. To excel in this role, you must possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in land documentation within the Solar & Wind sectors. Your proven ability to coordinate and monitor Land Aggregators will be crucial. Proficiency in the guidelines and processes required for land acquisition is essential. You should have expertise in identifying feasible sites and lands in proximity to project locations and a strong capability in securing State Grid Approvals. Familiarity with state laws and statutory requirements, along with a thorough understanding of legal compliances for project approval from local authorities such as KPTCL, KREDL, etc., are necessary. Excellent networking skills, high energy levels, and the ability to understand, read, and write in the Kannada language are also required. For qualifications/experience, a graduate degree with 5-10 years of work experience in the Solar sector is necessary. A law degree is preferred, and experience in the Solar IPP/EPC industry is highly desirable. You should be willing to travel to project sites as required, with the base location being Bangalore.
