Department: New Product Development (NPD) / Operations / IPD

Qualification: MBA – Operations Management (Fresher) / Experience: 0–1 year
1. Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and process-driven MBA – Operations Management /
Supplier Chain Management fresher to join our New Product Development team as a
Project Coordinator (NPD / IPD).
The role involves end-to-end project handling as per our Integrated Product
Development (IPD) / Stage Gate Process for OEM / ODM Gas Stove, Hob, Hob Top, and
Chimney projects.
The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth
execution from concept → design → proto → validation → tooling → pilot → PPAP →
mass production.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Project Coordination – (End-to-End as per IPD Gates)
Coordinate and track complete NPD project milestones as per IPD / Stage-Gate
model.
Prepare and maintain Project Charter, Timeline, Gate Documents, and
Deliverables.
Follow up with CFT (Design, QA, Procurement, Production, Tool Room) to ensure
on-time progress.
B. Execution of NPD Activities
Support proto development, pilot builds, tooling trials, and first sample
inspections.
Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, fixtures, samples, and development
activities.
Monitor project risks, highlight delays, and initiate mitigation actions.
C. Documentation & Reporting
Update daily/weekly Project Status Reports, Gantt charts, IPD trackers, and
action logs.
Maintain process documentation such as BOM, ECN/ECR, testing reports, and
approval notes.
Ensure all Gate deliverables are completed before each project milestone.
D. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Engineering for drawings, specifications, and product changes.
Coordinate with QA for validation testing, BIS requirements, and performance
checks.
Support Procurement in supplier follow-ups and material readiness.
Align with Production for line readiness, jig/fixture allocation, and pilot run
execution.
E. Customer / Partner Coordination
Support the BD / NPD team in sharing project updates to OEM/ODM customers.
Prepare customer documents such as timelines, feasibility notes, sample approval
trackers.
F. Operations & Process Excellence
Participate in process improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, VA/VE, Low-Cost
Automation).
Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, IPD workflows, and documentation protocols.
3. Required Skills
Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills.
Good understanding of basic manufacturing operations & supply chain flow.
Exposure to NPD or Operations subjects (college projects/internship).
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings (added advantage).
Good communication & interpersonal skills.
4. Qualification
MBA – Operations Management / Supply Chain Management (Fresher)
Certifications in Project Management (optional)
– PMP Basics, Agile, Six Sigma Yellow Belt (added advantage)
