Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Serve as the 

  single point of contact

   for U.S. clients regarding project status, design clarifications, and deliverables.
• Translate client requirements, specifications, and mark-ups into actionable tasks for design engineers and detailers.
• Prepare and maintain 

  project schedules

  , monitor progress, and follow up with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Review incoming architectural/structural drawings and communicate design intent or RFI (Request for Information) to engineers/detailers.
• Organize and lead 

  project coordination meetings

   across time zones; document and circulate meeting notes.
• Track and report project progress, issues, and risks to management and clients.
• Manage version control for drawings, calculation packages, and other deliverables.
• Assist with quality checks to ensure outgoing drawings and calculations meet client expectations and industry standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in 

  Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

   (preferred but not mandatory if experienced).
• 36 years of experience in 

  project coordination / client communication / engineering services in PEMB

  .
• Familiarity with 

  steel structures or pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)

   is a strong plus.
• Excellent 

  communication skills in English

   (verbal & written) for interacting with U.S.-based clients.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Excel, MS Project, or similar).
• Ability to work in 

  U.S. time zone overlap

   (late /evening/night IST if needed).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of 

  structural/PEMB terminology

   to bridge technical conversations.
• Experience working with 

  detailing teams using Tekla, AutoCAD, SDS/2, MBS

  .
• Prior work experience with 

  U.S.-based construction/engineering clients

  .
