Project Coordinator

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in organizing and conducting menstrual health and hygiene education programs for schools, community centers, and other organizations.
• Create social media content to raise awareness about menstrual health issues and promote the organization's mission.
• Attend online and offline meetings and events to represent the organization and communicate its mission and goals.
• Build partnerships with schools, colleges, non profit organizations for conducting menstrual health workshops
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to develop new initiatives and programs related to menstrual health and hygiene.
• Organize girls into peer groups and create safe spaces for them to freely express their thoughts and questions
• Ensure timely and proper use and distribution of resources as planned
• Document and report project activities on a monthly basis as per the templates provided during training
• Conduct surveys and interviews to identify beneficiaries, map and document their learning journeys
• Engage and document feedback and experiences of the participants for shared understanding and learning

SKILLS

• Passionate about improving education, gender and health outcomes for vulnerable communities in Jharkhand
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Working English and excellent Hindi speaking will be preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with public speaking and conducting presentations in Hindi
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with a young/new organization.
• Willingness to travel for work locally in and outside Jharkhand, if needed
• Candidates with an understanding and ability to use smartphone or laptop for Zoom, Google Meets, WhatsApp, Emails etc. will be preferred
• We are flexible with regards to education background. A graduate degree in Social Work (MSW etc.), Development Studies, Arts etc. is preferable, but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
