Role Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Project Coordinator to manage and facilitate the seamless integration of Duxbed's innovative furniture within diverse interior design and renovation projects. This role will be pivotal in ensuring project efficiency, effective communication among stakeholders, and the successful delivery of our furniture solutions within the specified design and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management Support: Assist project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of interior-focused projects. This includes developing project schedules, tracking milestones related to furniture integration, and managing project-related documentation.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for communication between internal departments (sales, design, production), external interior designers, contractors, and clients. Facilitate clear and consistent information flow regarding project status, furniture specifications, and installation schedules.
• Documentation and Administration: Maintain comprehensive project files, including design briefs, furniture specifications, installation plans, contracts, and financial records. Prepare regular project status reports and ensure accurate data management.
• Logistics and Procurement: Coordinate the timely availability of Duxbed furniture for project sites, working closely with the production and logistics teams. Assist with procurement processes for any supplementary interior-related materials, as required.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential challenges or deviations in project timelines or specifications related to furniture integration and collaborate with the project manager to implement effective solutions.
• Quality Assurance Liaison: Support the adherence to quality standards for both Duxbed products and their installation within interior projects, ensuring alignment with design intent and client expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of demonstrable experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably within the interior design, fit-out, or furniture industries.
• A solid understanding of interior design principles, spatial planning, and the typical workflow of interior projects.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with project management software or design collaboration tools will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English and Malayalam is essential.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working directly with furniture manufacturers or suppliers.
• Knowledge of local interior design trends and the network of designers and contractors in the Kerala region.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
