Job Summary:

Project Coordinator & Communications

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination (60%)

Support project planning, execution, and closure activities under guidance from senior team members.

Maintain and update project timelines, schedules, and task trackers.

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.

Assist in preparing project reports, dashboards, and status updates.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of project materials.

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Monitor basic project budgets and expenses.

Communications (40%)

Assist in creating communication materials (presentations, emails, newsletters, reports).

Coordinate internal communications to keep stakeholders updated on project progress.

Support content creation for external channels such as websites, blogs, or social media.

Help maintain consistent messaging across different communication platforms.

Participate in the organization of events, webinars, and workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Communications, Project Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

0-3 years of professional experience in project coordination, communications, administration, or related areas (internships and volunteer work welcome).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic understanding of project management principles and tools.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com) is a plus.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

Exposure to communication tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, or WordPress.

Basic knowledge of social media management or content creation.

Previous internship or volunteer experience in a coordination or communications role.
