QA QC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality methodologies, documentation, and continuous improvement practices, and will play a key role in ensuring that products, processes, or project outcomes meet defined quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA):

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and systems.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, ASTM, API, or industry-specific regulations).

Review and approve quality documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Plans.

Perform audits on internal processes, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues during design, production, or execution phases.

Quality Control (QC):

Perform inspections and testing at various stages of production or project execution (incoming, in-process, final).

Identify non-conformances, document NCRs, and ensure corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.

Maintain accurate inspection records, test reports, calibration certificates, and other QC documentation.

Coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients on quality inspections and approvals.

Monitor and report on product or project quality KPIs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles (industry-specific experience preferred).

In-depth knowledge of quality standards and industry regulations.

Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, etc.

Experience with QA/QC documentation, ISO 9001, and internal/external audits.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with QA/QC software (e.g., QMS platforms, ERP systems) is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
