Job Description

Hiring Project Coordinator at Chennai Location. Job Type: Full-time Role & responsibilities Document Control: Develop and implement effective document control procedures for construction projects. Ensure all project documentation is accurately recorded, filed, and maintained in a systematic manner. Collaborate with project teams to organize and manage project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence. Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of project expenses, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records. Work closely with the finance department to verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents. Address any discrepancies or issues related to project costs and reconcile them in a timely manner. Purchase Order Management: Coordinate and facilitate the creation, review, and approval of purchase orders. Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the construction team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. Assist in the preparation of project-related reports and presentations. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for project personnel as needed. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and administration of construction contracts. Track contract deliverables and milestones, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and contractors. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather and disseminate information effectively. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution. Foster positive relationships with vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on documentation, reconciliation, purchase order management, and administration in the construction industry. Proficient in document management systems and software. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
