Project Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects through all phases: concept design, design development, working drawings, approvals, and construction.
• Develop and present design concepts, drawings to clients.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is met.
• Review and approve design documentation, working drawings, and construction details.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical/design issues.
• Mentor junior architects and draftsmen, providing design and technical guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
• Professional license/registration preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, with proven project leadership.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, bye-laws, and approval processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
