Program Specialist

As a Program Specialist at Ownwell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and validation of our automated workflow program - Spyder. Your attention to detail and expertise in data validation will be instrumental in delivering accurate business insights and maintaining workflow reliability. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications: Key Responsibilities: - Deliver accurate business insights by preparing and maintaining MIS reports for leadership using Excel/Google Sheets/MySQL for data validation, cleaning, and analysis. - Safeguard workflow reliability by monitoring and validating automated processes such as invoice calculations, appeal filings, and large-scale data/document fetches. - Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality checks, validating data completeness and accuracy before outputs reach customers. - Investigate and manually resolve exceptions, anomalies, and edge cases like invoices not going out or accounts stuck in their lifecycle. - Bridge automation gaps by executing workflows manually in regions where automation is not yet implemented. - Enable continuous improvement by collaborating with engineering and product teams to highlight recurring process gaps and support future automation. - Document learnings, issues, and edge cases to improve knowledge-sharing and workflow design. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, economics, or a technical discipline. - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation. - Strong communication skills to clearly explain findings and issues to business and tech teams. - Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Proven ownership of tasks and ability to work independently. - SQL knowledge is a plus (ability to query and validate data). - 2+ years of formal industry experience. - Eagerness to learn and build domain expertise in property tax and real estate.
