Within our unit we develop, validate and service gear units used in wind turbines producing sustainable energy and we are doing this for more than 40 years! Today we build new the drivetrain solutions to meet the requirements of the future. As wind turbines continue to grow we are continuously pushed outside of our engineering boundaries, which makes it a challenging engineering environment to work in. We are looking for a new colleague in the Supply Chain Management department at our plant facility in India, Coimbatore Your Tasks: New Project Co-ordination Initiate Sourcing Cases & BOM cost Management Product Change Management Capacity Management Exception Supplier Management Commodity Purchasing (Casting, Forging & Machining) Your Profile: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferably in Mechanical) with 4-7 yrs. of experiences in the field of Heavy engineering Industries & expert knowledge in Purchase, Supplier Development,& Global Sourcing of relevant products Well conversant with supplier development activities. Techno-Commercial knowledge on development of Gear components & other catalogue components. Working experience on ERP ( SAP) Knowledge of 5S, Kanban, Kristal, ZFPS & Kaizen Be part of our ZF team as Program Purchasing buyer and apply now!
