Program Manager, Google Nest Software

As a Program Manager at Google, your role will involve leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This includes working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often cross offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it will be your responsibility to coordinate the players and keep them informed about progress and deadlines. The Platforms and Devices team at Google encompasses various computing software platforms across different environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as first-party devices and services that integrate Google AI, software, and hardware to create innovative user experiences globally. Key Responsibilities: - Drive defining, costing, planning, tracking, and executing complex programs across engineering and cross-functional teams. - Program manage a collection of technical projects, steer a multi-quarter roadmap, and effectively communicate with a diverse group of executive stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in program or project management, managing the full lifecycle of programs with minimal guidance. - Preferred qualifications include 5 years of experience in program management, expertise in capacity planning, communication, and agile project management, ability to partner with stakeholders to define and align prioritized objectives and key decisions throughout the program lifecycle, and capability to manage expectations through regular progress updates and implement changes as needed.,
