Program and Operation lead

Role Overview: As an Experienced Operations Lead at BT Group, you will be responsible for overseeing governance of India specific initiatives and delivery. Your role will involve negotiation and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels within the organization. You will drive MTP Goals, manage Line Management responsibilities for a team of 12, and focus on defect management, process improvement, and compliance. Your key focus will be on optimizing resource utilization, enhancing process efficiency, and aligning operating models with business goals through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Drive MTP Goals and track measurable objectives defined by senior leadership - Manage Line Management responsibilities for a team of 12 people in SMT, Lab Support - Work with managers to balance short term vs. long term MTP Goals - Triage defects, track & report defects, and manage process improvement and compliance - Monitor, plan, and execute projects by analyzing performance and implementing improvements - Provide information and recommendations to decision makers at all levels - Resolve issues related to project delivery in collaboration with stakeholders - Ownership of development of learning culture across the team - Focus on employee engagement and improving "Your Say" scores - Initiate new business cases and streamline project governance - Support process improvement initiatives across the unit Qualifications Required: - Twelve or more years of experience in IT and/or Telecom industry - 7 to 10 years of diverse roles and increasing leadership responsibilities - Experience with Transformation and customer experience improvement initiatives - Demonstrated experience in managing "upward" among senior leadership - Experience in managing Agile software development projects and groups - Knowledge and experience of business operations, business strategy, financial and operational strategic analysis - Bachelor of Engineering required; management degree will be an added advantage About Us: BT Group, as the world's first telco, has an unrivaled heritage in the sector.
