Job Description

A faculty member is expected to undertake responsibilities in:

Curricular development
Teaching and managing courses
Assessing learning units and mentoring /evaluating students and/ or student projects
Facilitate industry engagements through collaborative projects, Jury assessments, seminars, events and guest lectures
Conduct research, secure grants in areas of personal domain as well as those in the School s purview

Experience required:

The candidate can have either Educator or professional experience. The expertise is expected most areas listed below and an intent to be update knowledge on the go. He/ she should demonstrate skills in:

Principles of UI & UX Design, Interaction Design, and Accessibility Standards
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end technologies (optional but a plus)
HMI/ GUI/ HCI/HRI
Conversational, Haptics and such other forms of interactions salient to connective and immersive technologies
Usability studies (used cases, heuristics evaluation)
Mental models, task flows, Information Architecture and Navigational Design
User-centered design research
Knowledge of Behavioral Science, Cognitive science and Ergonomics

Software skills

Proficiency required in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Unity, Adobe XD, Figma
