Professor - Philosophy

As a full-time Professor in Philosophy at FLAME University, Pune, you will play a key role in the School of Liberal Education, which is known for its interdisciplinary research and teaching approach. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Teaching foundational undergraduate courses in Critical Reasoning and Applied Ethics - Conducting elective philosophy courses such as Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Western Philosophy, Ethics and the Good Life, Metaphysics, Epistemology, Existentialism, Political Philosophy, etc. - Being a clear and engaging teacher for undergraduate students, many of whom may be encountering philosophy for the first time in an academic setting - Pursuing independent research in Philosophy and regularly publishing your work - Potentially serving as an advisor for students pursuing a Ph.D. in Humanities In addition to teaching and research, you will also be involved in faculty colloquia, advising students, and academic administration. A Ph.D. (completed or nearing submission) is a requirement for this position.
