Professor

The Professor will serve as a senior academic leader responsible for delivering high-quality engineering education, guiding research, mentoring faculty, and contributing to institutional development. This role demands subject expertise, scholarly excellence, and strategic engagement with curriculum innovation, regulatory compliance, and academic governance in alignment with AICTE and affiliating university norms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver advanced-level lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions across B.Tech programs

- Lead curriculum design, revision, and pedagogical innovation in technical subjects

- Supervise doctoral and postgraduate research, fostering scholarly output and publications

- Mentor Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and academic staff

- Initiate and manage funded research projects, patents, and industry collaborations

- Contribute to academic audits, NAAC/NBA accreditation, and quality assurance processes

- Represent the department in academic councils, boards of studies, and regulatory forums

- Promote Universal Human Values and inclusive learning environments

- Guide student development through seminars, workshops, and career mentoring
