Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the Enterprise services group responsible for supporting party and non-party Reference Data Services (RDS) applications. Your role as the Production Support Regional Lead will require a unique skill set encompassing both functional and technical knowledge related to RDS Products, as well as a generic understanding of Google Cloud, Unix platforms, and Oracle databases. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain effective and productive relationships with stakeholders in business, development, infrastructure, and third-party systems/data providers & vendors. - Act as the regional lead and technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing day-to-day leadership and hands-on support as needed. - Oversee the resolution of complex incidents, ensuring appropriate problem-solving techniques and processes are applied. - Lead a regional team dedicated to supporting all business lines accessing DB through channel and integration systems. - Drive a culture of proactive continual improvement in the Production environment through automation, monitoring improvements, and platform hygiene. - Enable the adoption of practices such as SRE to minimize manual tasks and increase automation and stability. - Establish realistic SLAs aligned with customer expectations and industry best practices. - Provide a strict production gatekeeper function by ensuring all prerequisites are met before solutions go into production. - Provide regular reporting of relevant data, collect and analyze metrics for KPIs, and identify areas for improvement. - Act as an escalation contact for stakeholders in the business across all regions, supporting and enabling the business after office hours and weekends. - Manage service delivery of vendor partners based on agreed Service Level Agreements and work on continuous improvement. - Engage with internal service providers to improve service quality and stability. - Actively pursue service improvements and efficiencies in applications/processes to increase production stability and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required: - Experience supporting and working with Golden Source Reference data vendor software. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in application or service management in a large corporate environment (investment bank preferred). - Strong experience in agile methodologies, ITIL, production engineering, and SRE. - Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work as part of a global team. - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and excellent written and verbal communication. - Knowledge in banking (middle & back office) and understanding of banking processes, especially RDS.
