Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor in the FE_Energy team at Sulzer in Ambernath, India, your primary responsibility will be to ensure TAKT achievement in all workcentres of the ABN factory as per plan. This will involve proactively studying the manufacturing processes for hydro, assembly, and packaging of the pumps planned at ABN. You will be required to check and ensure the availability of all the necessary toolings for hydro, assembly, and packaging to facilitate seamless production. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure TAKT achievement in all workcentres of the ABN factory - Study and understand the manufacturing processes for hydro, assembly, and packaging of the pumps - Check and ensure availability of necessary toolings for hydro, assembly, and packaging - Efficiently handle three-shift manpower to maintain high levels of manpower utilization - Conduct GEMBA meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as PPC, Warehouse, ORE, Maintenance, Purchase, and QC Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in rotary equipment, pump assembly, machine shop, hydro, and packaging in manufacturing - Competency in API pumps/compressors and understanding of BOM, Manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, P&IDs, GA, QAP, and data sheets - Proficiency in manpower handling, union, and contractor management - Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production, along with certifications in 5S/Lean would be desirable Sulzer offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 22 vacation days, 9 casual leave days, 8 sick leave days, and 13 festival holidays.
