Job Description

Job Title: Production Engineer / Production Supervisor Department: Production Location: Jalgaon (Rotational Shift Working) Key Responsibilities: Daily Production Planning & Execution: Execute shift-wise production schedules and ensure on-time delivery targets. Coordinate with stores and quality teams for timely availability of materials and approvals. Manpower Handling: Supervise and allocate work to operators and contract labour. Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift rotation. Process Monitoring & Efficiency: Monitor key production processes (e.g., stamping, fabrication, powder coating, assembly). Ensure optimum machine utilization, cycle time, and rejection control. Quality & Compliance: Adhere to in-process quality checks and maintain documentation as per ISO standards. Report deviations or abnormalities to concerned departments. Shop Floor Management: Ensure 5S, Kaizen, safety, and cleanliness on the shop floor. Prepare daily production reports (DPR) and maintain shift logs. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with maintenance, design, and planning teams for production continuity. Provide feedback on process improvement, tooling, and capacity planning. Data Recording & Documentation: Maintain records for production output, downtime, rejections, and resource utilization. Support audit-related documentation and traceability requirements. Key Skills Required: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (preferably electrical/mechanical components) Ability to read production drawings and work instructions Good knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM practices Leadership and team management skills Basic knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering 15 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing industry
