Production Supervisor

As a Supervisor in an aluminum factory, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the factory, which includes casting, extrusion, fabrication, finishing, and packaging. Your main duties will involve monitoring production output to ensure targets are met within set timelines and budgets. It will be your responsibility to optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce downtime. You will also implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in operations. In this role, you will need to effectively schedule and allocate resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials. Quality control is a crucial aspect, and you will be required to implement and maintain procedures to ensure that products meet the necessary specifications. Regular inspections of work in progress and finished products will be part of your routine. Supervising, training, and motivating production staff will be essential to maintain a productive work environment. You will delegate tasks efficiently, provide guidance to team members, and oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment. Coordinating with maintenance personnel for scheduling preventative maintenance is also a key responsibility. Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, as well as coordinating with procurement for timely material deliveries, will be part of your role. You will be expected to prepare and submit regular production reports that include output, efficiency, and quality metrics. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4-7 years of experience as a Supervisor in an aluminum factory or similar manufacturing environment. GCC experience is a must. A solid understanding of aluminum processing techniques, quality control, and safety procedures is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, along with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, will be beneficial. Knowledge of MS Office Suite and other relevant software is required, and possession of a valid GCC driving license is a must.
