Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervise and manage all production activities during the assigned shift
• Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes with minimum downtime • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores teams to maintain productivity targets • Monitor production KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency • Maintain documentation for shift-wise production, manpower allocation, and incidents • Train and guide operators and technicians on SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards • Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity between shifts • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory norms in the plant

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech or BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Food Technology
• 25 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setup • Good understanding of production processes, machine operations, and shift planning • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage floor teams effectively • Working knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and lean practices • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and take timely corrective actions • Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools is a plus
