Role & responsibilities The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of plastic wash line equipment and extrusion machinery . The role involves ensuring smooth production, minimizing downtime, maintaining machine efficiency, and supporting continuous process improvement in plastic recycling and granulation. Maintain compliance with ISO/OSHA standards and EHS policies. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot issues related to gearboxes, bearings, seals, pumps, and drive systems. Coordinate with electrical/instrumentation teams for PLC, motor, and control system issues. Operate and hands on experience on plastic wash line, shredders, agglomerators, dryers, and extruders.
