Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of production schedules and inventory management to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing processes. This role also includes managing the warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, issuing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and internal capacity. - Coordinate with procurement/Vendors, production, quality, and sales teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery. - Coordinate with multiple sales channels for deriving final inventory planning. - Ensure production plans align with overall business objectives and inventory strategies. - Maintain inventory turnover ratios as per guidance from management. Warehouse Management: - Ensure that daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuing, and returns are taken care of meticulously. - Ensure proper inventory control processes are in place and adhered to. - Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile discrepancies. - Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness in compliance with health and safety regulations. - Optimize space utilization and layout for improved storage efficiency and flow of materials. - Maintain issuing of inventory as per each sales channel's requirements. - Keep an eye on aging and shelf life of inventories to avoid short expiry and participate in strategies for short expiry material liquidation when needed. - Train the warehouse staff and labour towards various processes of the warehouse and hygiene and housekeeping related matters. Leadership Qualities: - Generate and analyze reports related to inventory, production performance, and warehouse efficiency. - Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse and planning staff. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations. Qualifications & Skills: - Commerce Graduate or any Graduate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in handling PPC function and warehouse with a manufacturing company. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Exposure to Tally or any other ERP with inventory management. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Good understanding of lean manufacturing, inventory control, and 5S principles.,
