Job Title

Induction Motor Production Operator Job Purpose Responsible for operating machines, assembling components, and ensuring the efficient production of induction motors that meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation - Operate drill machines, winding machines, presses, and other tools used in motor assembly.

- Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain production efficiency.

- Assembly Tasks - Assemble stator cores, windings, rotor bars, shafts, bearings, and end covers.

- Align and fasten components using precision drilling, bolting, and fitting techniques.

- Install fans, terminal boxes, and accessories as per design specifications.

- Quality Control - Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and defects.

- Conduct electrical and mechanical tests (insulation resistance, vibration, balance).

- Record production data and report deviations.

- Maintenance & Safety - Clean and lubricate machines regularly.

- Follow safety protocols and report hazards immediately.

- Ensure proper handling of copper windings, laminations, and fragile components.

Requirements

- Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

- Experience: 1–3 years in motor or electrical equipment manufacturing.

- Skills:

- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings.

- Knowledge of drilling, winding, and assembly processes.

- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

- Physical Ability: Standing for long hours, handling moderate weights, working in noisy environments. Competencies

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of induction motor components and assembly sequence.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly or machine issues.

- Efficiency: Meet production targets without compromising quality.

- Teamwork: Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow operators.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
