Production Operator

Job Description

Set up and operate the corrugation machine (Single Facer / Double Facer / Corrugator). Adjust machine settings such as pressure, temperature, speed, and glue application based on board specifications. Load raw materials and ensure continuous material flow. Monitor board quality during production (flute formation, bonding, moisture, GSM, bursting strength). Conduct regular visual and dimensional checks. Immediately report any deviations to the quality team or supervisor. Achieve daily production targets with minimal downtime and wastage. Record shift-wise production data in the logbook/system. Collaborate with the maintenance team in troubleshooting breakdowns. Perform daily and preventive maintenance (cleaning rollers, checking belts, lubricating parts). Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the machine and surrounding area. Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE). Comply with factory SOPs and ISO/5S/FSC-related documentation if applicable.
