• Production Planning & Scheduling:
• Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement departments to ensure raw materials and components are available.
• Plan and allocate necessary resources, including equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Staff Management & Leadership:
• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, supervisors, and other personnel.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff performance to foster a productive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety protocols, motivating and supporting the team.
• Quality Control:
• Develop and enforce quality standards and procedures for all stages of production.
• Monitor product quality to ensure it meets company specifications and industry standards.
• Implement quality control programs and resolve defects promptly.
• Resource & Cost Management:
• Oversee raw material procurement and finished goods inventory.
• Monitor production costs and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Estimate production costs and negotiate budgets with managers.
• Process Improvement & Efficiency:
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
• Implement initiatives like lean manufacturing to enhance productivity.
• Monitor production lines, equipment, and machinery to minimize downtime.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure that all workers adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Address safety concerns immediately and ensure a safe working environment.
• Cross-Departmental Communication:
