Production Manager Leather Export House, Noida

As a Production Manager in this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of production activities for export orders. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating production schedules for export orders, covering cutting, stitching, finishing, etc. - Setting targets and ensuring production timelines are met. - Planning material requirements such as raw leather, linings, hardware, trims, and ensuring timely availability. You will also be accountable for maintaining quality standards for leather products, ensuring compliance with buyer specifications and export quality norms, and developing SOPs and quality control checklists. Your role will involve leading the production team, monitoring tools, machinery, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime, and focusing on workforce planning, training, and skill development. Additionally, you will be expected to optimize processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency, implement best practices like Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and control costs related to labor, materials, and utilities. Coordination and communication are crucial aspects of this position, as you will be required to liaise with Merchandising, Design, Quality, and Procurement departments, report order status and production bottlenecks to management, participate in buyer visits and compliance audits, and manage fire safety, electrical safety, and structural audit processes. Maintaining proper documentation is also a part of your responsibilities, including production records, QC reports, compliance logs, etc. Please note that this is a permanent job position that requires in-person work at the specified location.,
