Job Summary

Jeeva Organic is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations at our Borgaon facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pulverization, extraction, sterilization, and processing of nutraceutical and organic products. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and thorough knowledge of GMP, organic compliance, and safety standards to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and timelines.
• Manage and control manufacturing processes including pulverization, extraction, sterilization, blending, and packing of nutraceutical products.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, utilities, and raw materials.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Implement and maintain GMP, SOPs, organic certification standards, and safety protocols.
• Reduce process losses, wastage, and downtime through continuous process improvements.
• Coordinate closely with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and Procurement teams for smooth plant operations.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), MIS reports, and documentation.
• Train, guide, and motivate production staff to achieve operational and quality objectives.
• Lead and support internal and external audits related to quality systems, safety, and organic compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of nutraceutical and organic manufacturing processes, including pulverization, extraction, and sterilization.
• Hands-on experience in GMP, SOP implementation, quality systems, and safety standards.
• Experience in organic, herbal, food, FMCG, or agro-based manufacturing units preferred.
• Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze production data and prepare detailed MIS and performance reports.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Food Technology / Production / Industrial Management or a related field.
• Certifications in Production Management, Quality Systems, GMP, or Safety will be an added advantage
