Production Manager - Garments Industry

As a Production Manager in the garment industry, your role will involve planning, organizing, and managing daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. You will be responsible for effectively allocating manpower, machines, and resources across production lines to ensure smooth operations. Monitoring production processes, efficiency, and workflow to minimize delays and wastage will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring adherence to buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating with merchandising, QA, maintenance, and supply chain teams to facilitate seamless operations. You will be expected to prepare production reports, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous process improvements and cost reduction. Ensuring worker safety, discipline, and compliance with statutory regulations will be a top priority. Additionally, leading, training, and motivating production teams to achieve organizational goals will be essential for success in this role. Your support during factory audits and buyer visits with accurate production status updates will also be required. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and manage daily garment production activities - Allocate manpower, machines, and resources effectively - Monitor production processes, efficiency, and workflow - Ensure adherence to buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations - Prepare production reports, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions - Drive continuous process improvements and cost reduction - Ensure worker safety, discipline, and compliance with regulations - Lead, train, and motivate production teams - Support factory audits and buyer visits with accurate updates Qualifications Required: - Graduate in Textile Engineering / Garment Technology / Industrial Engineering (preferred) - 10 years of experience in garment production management In this full-time role, your strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, leadership and team management skills, analytical abilities, and effective communication with cross-functional teams will be key to your success.
