Production Manager (Electronics)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the complete production process for electronic products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and cost constraints. Supervise and manage a production team of 50-100 employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, optimal performance, and effective resource utilization. Implement and optimize production processes to increase productivity while maintaining high-quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues during the manufacturing process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and are produced according to specifications. Monitor daily production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet targets. Conduct root cause analysis on production defects or delays and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain and update production documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in production processes to enhance efficiency and product quality. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production environment. Train, mentor, and develop junior engineers and production staff to ensure a high level of expertise and performance. Preferred candidate profile Any Qualification. Minimum 10+ years of experience in the production and assembly of electronic products, with a strong focus on speakers, headphones, and TWS devices. Proven experience in handling and leading a production team of 50-100 employees in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control procedures, Assembly line, SMT and industry standards for electronics assembly. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and resolve production challenges. Candidates Within Chennai only can apply.
