Production Head

Role & responsibilities

Knowledge of PVC/HDPE/Garden pipe extrusion plant, Mixer machine and blown film extrusion

processes.

Hands-on experience with ERP-based production systems.

Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Good understanding of machine manufacturing and troubleshooting.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in coordination with the planning

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

Monitor production output against targets and take corrective actions where needed.

Ensure timely completion of production orders as per ERP schedules.

Monitor and maintain product quality as per company and customer specifications.

Supervise, train, and motivate production supervisors and operators.

Ensure discipline, safety, and productivity in the shop floor.

Evaluate team performance and recommend improvements.

Coordinate with maintenance, purchase, and store departments to ensure uninterrupted

production.

Liaise with design and engineering teams for any process or design changes.

Communicate production status and issues to management through ERP-generated reports.

Oversee and ensure accurate data entry in the ERP system for production, material consumption,

and machine utilization.

Use ERP reports for planning, analysis, and decision-making.

Support ERP process improvements and staff training.
