Production Head - Power/ HV Transformers

To lead and manage end-to-end production operations for high-voltage power transformers (400 to 765 kV class), ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and operational efficiency across all manufacturing stages including winding, assembly, core building, tanking, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Oversee complete transformer manufacturing lifecycle:
• Winding (HV/LV)
• Single-phase and three-phase assembly
• Core building and core assembly
• Tanking and final assembly
• Testing coordination and dispatch
• Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols
• Optimize resource utilization, reduce cycle times, and improve throughput

Team Leadership

• Lead a multidisciplinary production team across shifts
• Drive skill development, training, and performance management
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

Process & Quality Control

• Collaborate with QA/QC and design teams to resolve manufacturing issues
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices
• Monitor KPIs: yield, rework, downtime, and customer complaints

Cross-functional Coordination

• Interface with planning, procurement, testing, and logistics teams
• Support customer inspections and audits
• Provide inputs for CAPEX planning and infrastructure upgrades
