Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with hands-on exposure to sheet metal fabrication processes. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, execution, quality control, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of fabrication projects while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and execute production plans as per project schedules and drawings
Material planning, requisition, and coordination with Purchase and Stores
Supervise sheet metal fabrication activities such as cutting, bending, welding, and assembly
Monitor production progress, productivity, and shop-floor performance
Ensure quality compliance and reduce rework, rejection, and wastage
Coordinate with Quality, Project, and Outsourcing teams
Manage manpower allocation and support training on shop-floor operations
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a safe working environment
Prepare daily/monthly MIS and production reports
Support outsourcing activities and coordinate inspections and dispatch

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and welding technology
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience in production planning and shop-floor execution
Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001 and ISO45001 standards.
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Candidates:

2 years of Experience in fabrication / manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of welding processes and operations.
Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical / Production / DME
Behavioral Skills: Leadership Skills, Planning & Coordination Skills, Business Communication, Decision Making, Analytical Skills, Time Management & Result Orientation.
