Job Description

Role Overview: As a hands-on maker-educator at Makers Asylum, you will be leading the electronics & coding initiatives. Your passion for building, coding, and teaching will be instrumental in empowering individuals to bring their ideas to life through hands-on learning, design thinking, and cutting-edge fabrication techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Design and conduct workshops & programs focusing on electronics, coding, IoT, and robotics. - Mentor students on projects by debugging code, designing circuits, and building prototypes. - Collaborate with industry-relevant tools & practices to develop and refine the curriculum. - Lead sessions during residencies in Goa to cultivate a collaborative maker community. - Manage program schedules, logistics, and ensure smooth execution of activities. Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in coding, including Arduino, Python, IoT, and embedded systems. Required Skills: - Demonstrated track record in teaching or facilitating hands-on STEM workshops. - Proficiency in working with microcontrollers, sensors, and prototyping tools. - Excellent communication skills to inspire and guide diverse learners. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with FreeCAD and KiCad is advantageous. - Possess a Maker mindset to embrace learning and self-learning new tools, processes, and techniques.,
