Job Overview

We are seeking a Proving Engineer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The role requires a keen understanding of the technical aspects of engineering, particularly in machine handling and design software. The position will be based for Our Client Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and proving of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards and requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Machine Handling HMC, VMC & VTL. (Mandatory skill)
• Knowledge about AutoCAD and Solid Works (Mandatory skill)
• Brainstorming and Problem Solving skills (Mandatory skill)
• Knowledge of Cost Estimation and Fixture Design Concept (Mandatory skill)
• Drawing Interpretation skills to accurately understand and analyse engineering drawings
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders efficiently
• Proficient computer literacy to efficiently utilize various software and tools in engineering tasks
• Experience in CNC program creation for new development products to ensure precise manufacturing
• Proven ability to perform new product part proving and secure First Article Inspection (FAI) clearance from QA
• Participation in technical review meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss new product development parts
• Execution of new tool trials to evaluate and implement new equipment effectively
• Ability to update and maintain team experience documents with current project details and insights

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the proving and validation processes of new products to ensure conformance with design specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate technical reviews and discussions for new product development
• Develop and modify CNC programs to support the creation and enhancement of developmental products
• Lead efforts in cost estimation and fixture design concept to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to achieve FAI clearance and ensure product meets all technical and quality requisites
• Conduct new tool trials and document results to drive improvements and implementation of new tooling solutions
• Interpret technical drawings to accurately guide manufacturing processes and quality checks
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to product proving, trials, and quality assessments
• Maintain and update team documentation related to product development, tooling trials, and technical reviews.
