Production Chemist

Role Overview: As a Lab Chemist at the phenolic resin plant, you will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, analyzing raw materials, monitoring product consistency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your role will involve performing analytical testing, troubleshooting quality deviations, maintaining lab equipment, and supporting production with process optimizations. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct quality control tests to ensure product consistency - Analyze raw materials and finished products using analytical techniques such as FTIR, GC, HPLC, titration, and viscometry - Troubleshoot quality deviations and implement corrective actions - Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functioning - Support production with process optimizations to enhance efficiency and quality Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field - Minimum of 5-7 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a resin or polymer manufacturing environment - Experience with phenolic resins, thermosetting polymers, or adhesives is a plus - Proficiency in analytical techniques and knowledge of resin chemistry, polymerization reactions, and quality control methods - Familiarity with industrial standards and regulatory requirements for phenolic resins - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to interpret test results accurately - Good communication skills, ability to work in a team, and time management skills to handle multiple tests and deadlines efficiently,
