Production Chemist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the production of cosmetic formulations (creams, lotions, shampoos, etc.) in line with company protocols. Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs, and safety regulations. Monitor batch processing, mixing, and filling operations. Prepare and maintain production documents, including BMRs (Batch Manufacturing Records) and BPRs (Batch Packaging Records). Conduct in-process quality checks and report deviations. Coordinate with the Quality Control and R&D teams for process improvements. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the production area. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of production equipment. Manage raw materials and inventory for production batches. Key Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field. 1–5 years of experience in a production role, preferably in the cosmetics or personal care industry. Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and quality compliance standards. Ability to handle production documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
