Production Assistant

In the role of Head of Production/Factory Operations at the fast-growing CCTV manufacturing startup in Noida, India, you will be reporting directly to the CEO/COO. Your primary focus will be on setting up and expanding the factory operations, leveraging your extensive experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically in surveillance, IoT, or consumer electronics. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge surveillance solutions for global markets. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the establishment of the CCTV manufacturing facility, including designing scalable production processes for cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and AI-enabled devices. - Negotiate with equipment vendors to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Implement Six Sigma/Lean methodologies to achieve production yield targets exceeding 95%. - Establish quality control protocols for critical components to uphold high standards. - Build a localized supply chain for key components, reduce BOM costs, and implement JIT inventory strategies for cost optimization. - Recruit, train, and mentor production engineers, technicians, and line supervisors to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. - Plan production scaling phases and explore Industry 4.0 solutions to enhance automation. Qualifications Required: - Over 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with a focus on surveillance, IoT, or consumer electronics. - Demonstrated expertise in ramping up production, operational excellence, and a startup mindset. - Strong technical knowledge in CCTV/electronics manufacturing. - Comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment.
