Product Strategy & Plan Lead Analyst

The Product Strategy & Plan Lead Analyst at Citi's CPSO team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is responsible for ensuring effective issue resolution and risk mitigation in Institutional Credit Management (ICM). You will provide design and testing support to resolve MRAs/CAPs and SIIs, identify opportunities to reduce anomalies, and establish guidelines for operational consistency across Business Units. Your role involves implementing governance mechanisms to prevent issue recurrence and driving the adoption and improvement of Credit Risk Process Digitalization platforms. Collaboration with ICM Product Development, Technology, and various stakeholders is essential for successful project completion within the CPSO book of work. You will support the Portfolio Manager in engaging with regional and industry stakeholders for effective issue resolution and risk mitigation, explore the use of new tools like AI/ML to optimize processes, and provide feedback and coaching to sustain a strong credit culture. Participation in learning and development opportunities, as well as supporting CPSE VoE Engagement and Leadership scores, are integral parts of your responsibilities. Travel requirements are minimal, less than 10%. The ideal candidate for this role should have 9-12 years of experience in the Banking or FI Industry, with deep knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes and Policies. Familiarity with Credit Officer (CO) responsibilities, credit risk systems, and the ability to present complex information clearly are essential. Strategic orientation, strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are key competencies required for this position. Qualifications for the position include a BA/BSc in Finance or Accounting, higher degree in Business (MBA), CFA, or related field.
