Generic Skills

• 10 -12 years plus experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment
• knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Financial Products (preferable)
• excellent writing and communication skills along with managing complex projects' backlog
• understanding of the Agile methodology and software development lifecycle
• strong Microsoft software skills (Office, co-pilot)
• Gitlab and SQL knowledge

MUST HAVE SKILLS :

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager or Business Analyst in investment banking, 

  specifically in securities settlement and confirmation.

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, including trade capture, matching, confirmation, and settlement across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Familiarity with industry platforms and standards (e.g., SWIFT, DTCC, Omgeo CTM, Euroclear, Clearstream).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own the product roadmap for securities settlement and confirmation platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, technology, compliance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features.
• Lead the development and enhancement of post-trade processing systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., T+1, CSDR, DTCC, SWIFT).
• Prioritize product backlog and manage sprint planning in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.
• Drive automation and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct UAT planning, execution, and sign-off in coordination with QA and business users.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for securities lifecycle events, trade matching, settlement instructions, and reconciliation processes.
