Job Description

Job Title: Product Owner

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring accurate translation of business needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping.
  • Create clear, concise, and prioritized

    user stories, epics, acceptance criteria

    , and process flows.
  • Own the

    product backlog

    , ensuring continuous grooming, prioritization, and alignment with business and platform goals.
  • Drive

    product roadmap discussions

    , release planning, and milestone alignment with global teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups including UX/UI Designers, Developers, QA, Architecture, and Business Operations.
  • Support UAT cycles, coordinate feedback sessions, and ensure timely closure of gaps/defects.
  • Monitor platform performance, business metrics, and customer behavior to recommend product enhancements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends in

    e-commerce, supply chain systems, fulfillment operations, last-mile logistics

    , and related technologies.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure the engineering team has clarity on business priorities, outcomes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure smooth communication and product progress with stakeholders in US time zones by working during

    India–US merged hours

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience

    as a Product Owner / Product Manager in e-commerce, supply chain, logistics, OMS/WMS, retail, or related enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of

    end-to-end order lifecycle

    , fulfillment processes, inventory management, shipping workflows, and reverse logistics.
  • Proven experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Hands-on experience working in

    Agile

    environments (Scrum/Kanban) using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across geographies and manage complex business requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience coordinating with distributed teams and managing deliverables under shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (MBA preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with

    B2B/B2C e-commerce ecosystems

    , marketplace integrations, or global logistics.
  • Knowledge of OMS/WMS platforms, API integrations, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Power BI, etc.).
