Product Owner - Fixed Income

You will be working for one of the world's largest providers of financial services, leading in investment management, asset management, brokerage, and various other financial products and services. They are a significant presence in both the United States and India. As part of your role, you will have the following key responsibilities: - Define, refine, and clearly communicate the team's mission and roadmap to inspire alignment and support among team members and stakeholders. - Contribute to the product roadmap by ensuring transparency around capabilities being developed and identifying new opportunities. - Engage with clients and partners to understand and prioritize their needs, serving as their advocate within the team. - Establish clear acceptance criteria and measure results against them. - Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and facilitate their removal. - Evaluate team performance against established objectives to ensure the delivery of business, technology, and people outcomes. - Collaborate with other leaders and Scrum Masters to build team capacity, capability, and foster the growth and development of team members. - Make informed trade-off decisions to balance quality, cost, and timelines effectively. - Contribute to the ideation process by bringing innovative ideas to the table. Preferred skills for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or Finance related field; CFA/CFP designation or post-graduate degree in finance is a plus. - Ability to break down complex product features into clear, concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria, and communicate them effectively. - Experience between 11 and 14 years, mainly in the Fixed Income domain or asset management domain. - Data-driven approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, and prioritizing to maximize value delivery. - Demonstrated experience in defining minimum viable products and managing product backlogs. - Extensive expertise in the Fixed Income domain for delivering optimal business outcomes within a complex set of applications and business processes. - Capability to lead, influence, and motivate teams without formal authority, with a track record of building high-performing teams. - Commitment to continuous improvement and promoting an agile way of working. - Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across functions to deliver business outcomes, leveraging colleagues" expertise to inform your approach. - Intellectual curiosity and commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching. - Balanced development of technology and non-technology skills to fully understand and meet customer needs. - Skilled in identifying scope changes and addressing them proactively.,
