Product Owner

As a Product Owner at Daxko, you play a crucial role in understanding and analyzing both internal and external customer needs, translating them into user stories, and effectively communicating these needs to the development team. You work closely with an agile team of Software and Quality Engineers, serving as the liaison between customers and the development team throughout the planning and software development process. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate into the agile development team to ensure successful product delivery and act as the voice of the customer - Collaborate with Product Managers to shape the product vision, strategy, and roadmap - Work with Product Managers to define epics, features, stories, and acceptance criteria for the product backlog in alignment with the product strategy - Prioritize enhancements and feature requests, manage the product roadmap, and maintain a prioritized backlog - Lead release planning and sprint planning processes, setting goals and ensuring their successful delivery - Actively mitigate risks and issues affecting team completion of release and sprint goals - Ensure acceptance criteria are met in the current release and conduct sprint reviews from a business/customer perspective - Create documentation to support development, launch, and marketing initiatives - Conduct detailed product demonstrations for internal and external audiences - Provide subject matter expertise for sales and support as required Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR equivalent professional experience - 2+ years of experience in product ownership or management roles - Proficiency in agile software development practices and tools - Strong negotiation skills with engineers and senior leadership - Ability to drive high-quality results and communicate effectively - Passion for creating value for customers and driving product delivery - Leadership skills to execute across multiple functions within the organization Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in Agile, Pragmatic Marketing, Project Management, or Scrum Product Owner - Experience leading multiple scrum teams and collaborating with UX teams for solution design Daxko is committed to diversity and values a workforce that brings together various perspectives and experiences.
