Job Description

As a Product Operations Analyst at Ethos, your role is crucial in building the connective tissue between product and user-facing teams to deliver more value to users efficiently. You will collaborate with customer-facing teams, product management, and engineering teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Being a product quality advocate by addressing questions and feature requests from customer-facing teams, triaging surfaced issues, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to identify, size, and resolve product bugs. - Tackling and resolving a significant portion of technical and product issues raised by customer-facing stakeholders and other users of Ethos technology. - Acting as the main point of contact between product/engineering teams and customer-facing teams, communicating product and bug updates to affected stakeholders. - Collaborating with software engineers and product managers to gather, quantify, and prioritize product-related bugs and challenges for future development sprints, utilizing SQL or other analytical methods to estimate impacts. - Enhancing product and engineering's comprehension of how customers use the product. - Contributing to continuous improvement in engagement models between product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. - Ensuring operational team readiness during new feature and customer experience launches. - Representing the customer's voice in the development of new features, product launches, and enhancements to the current customer experience. - Identifying and establishing connections with relevant subject matter experts across the company to surface insights, ensure alignment between teams, and enhance the customer experience. Qualifications and Skills required for this role are: - 3+ years of experience in operations, product, or another analytical role. - 1+ year of experience with Javascript, Java, or SQL. - Demonstrated mix of analytical mindset, technical abilities, and business acumen, with a proactive approach to work. - Customer-focused mindset with a deep understanding of how user experience shapes product direction and processes. - Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, take initiative, and be resourceful. - Strong organizational skills and responsiveness in fulfilling requests from internal stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills to convey messages effectively to various stakeholders and audiences. - Experience in a high-growth technology company. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or an engineering-related field.
