Product Modeling & Design

As a Product Data Developer for BIW sheet metal and plastic parts, your primary responsibility will be to develop formal product data and drawings for various components such as bumpers, instrument panels, wipers, fuel tanks, interior trims, seats, HVAC systems, casting parts of brake and suspension systems, and electric and electronic components. You will collaborate closely with in-house product modeling and design teams to create formal 3D CAD data and 2D/3D drawings. Additionally, you will work with the engineering team to implement design modifications and enhance data quality, applying basic engineering principles and standards to ensure the accuracy of 3D data and drawings. Desired qualifications for this role include specific knowledge of automation and macros in the UG modeling/drawing environment, project management skills, and familiarity with the Japanese language. Key competencies required for this position include proficiency in CAD software, especially Unigraphics NX, a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, expertise in CAD and drawing, effective communication and documentation skills, and proficiency in MS Office tools. You should be able to communicate effectively, work well in a team environment, demonstrate a creative and innovative approach, and be willing to share experiences with others. It is essential to stay abreast of global and domestic industry trends in your work area, maintain a flexible, proactive, and positive attitude, and adhere to established systems and processes.,
