Product Marketing manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Market Research & Analysis

  : Conduct detailed market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor movements. Convert insights into actionable strategies.

• Product Positioning & Strategy

  : Define product value proposition, differentiation, and messaging in line with market demands and company goals.

• Go-to-Market Execution

  : Plan and execute product launches, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns. Ensure timely and impactful rollouts with cross-functional alignment.

• Channel & Customer Engagement

  : Build strong engagement with distributors, retailers, and end customers. Drive channel marketing programs, trade schemes, exhibitions, and events.

• Brand & Communication

  : Develop marketing collaterals, digital campaigns, and promotional content to enhance product visibility and recall.

• Performance Tracking & Reporting

  : Track campaign performance, sales growth, and ROI. Share regular updates and recommendations with leadership.

• Cross-functional Collaboration

  : Work closely with Sales, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align marketing initiatives with business and product development plans

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in product marketing within the electrical/FMEG industry, particularly in switches and switchgear.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end marketing strategies and product launches.
• Strong expertise in customer insights, brand development, and promotional campaign management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills with proficiency in marketing tools and techniques.
• MBA/PGDM in Marketing; Engineering background preferred
